MOTOR WIND SCREEN CASE.

At the Supremo Court, George William Thomas, who was found guilty, after a protracted trial, of obtaining sums of money totalling £425 by means of false pretences in connection with a wind screen patent for motor cars, came up for sentence. In sentencing prisoner to nine months’ imprisonment, Mr. Justice Hosking said prisoner had. added to his offences the crime of perjury.
