PASSENGERS HOLD CONCERT.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 15, 5.5 p.m. London, May 13. Perfect order prevailed on the Benalla. When it was found the vessel was in no immediate danger pianos were brought on deck and a sing-song and dance was held.
The Commonwealth Emigration Department has taken special steps to arrange accommodation for the Benalla’s passengers, who arrive in London to-night, the department’s contingent on board the vessel comprises 142 men, 116 women and 177 children. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
