The full prograunme can be seen in this issue, and it is easily the very best yet attempted by the association. The tournament will open with the featherweight bout, when A. Humphreys, of Eltham, will oppose S. Hope, of New Plymouth. Both these boxers are fast and clever, and a good exhibition should be given. In the lightweight, Brosnan, of New Plymouth, will try conclusions with Willis. Willis Is the exchampion of the Boys’ High School, and this bout will be a good one. A. E. Clarry, of Eittam, will be matched with C. Oakes, of Wew Plymouth in the welter-weight, and as both Clarry and Oakes are good boxers, this will also be a willing go. The special amateur bout between G. Thomas, of Wanganui, and F. Canute, of Stratford, will be productive of some clever and exciting boxing. There is no need to enlarge on these two, as both are well known to patrons. In the special professional bout, Hart, the New South Wales professional, will be matched with Bert Facoorey, of Auckland, the chaunpion professional bantam-weight. Hart is a clever and neat boxer, and Facoorey's reputation is well known throughout the Dominion as one of the cleverest boxers that ever went in the ring. Then will come the great fifteen rounds professional bout for a purse of £lOO, the winner to take the lot. The contestants are Tommy Thompson and George Richardson. Both these boxers are well known, and are in the very pink of condition, and both men are confident of putting up the showing of Jheir lives. This bout will keep patrons excited from start to finish, as the men are so -evenly matched, and both are keen on winning. The referee will be Mr. Tim Tracey, of Wellington, and the first bout will start at 8 p.m. DEMPSEY-CARPENTIER MATCH. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 12, 5.5 p.m. New York, May 11.
