PAPER MILLS CLOSE.
LARGE PRODUCTION LOST. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 12, 5.5 p.m. New York, May 11. Seven large paper mills in the United States and Canada have shut down following the failure of the employers and the workers to sign new agreements. Between 15,000 and 20,000 men are now striking. The output of the mills {losing was four thousand tons daily—sixty per cent, of the entire production in the United States and Canada.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
