ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLE’S.

LAST NIGHT OF TOM MIX.

Tom Mix fans are hereby advised that this is their last chance to see the new William Fox production, “The Feud,’’ in which their favorite is starred at the People’s Theatre. Mix plays a character new to him in the role of Jere Lynch, son of a feudist family. The feature has been very successful here, owing to its strong story and thrilling and dramatic episodes. The bill includes the big “Sunshine” comedy, “Farmyard Follies,” and Fox Gazettes. To-morrow’s change presents big Mitch Lewis and Florence Turner in a big mining play, “Fools’ Gold,” “Elmo” No. 16, Gazette and comedy are also on the bill.

EVERYBODY’S.

Wm. DESMOND “THE BLUE BANDANNA.”

William Desmond is seen in another of his inimitable characterisations in “The Blue Bandanna,” his new production. This latest of the genial Bill’s pictures is a romantic drama of that part of the west in which hard riding, stage robberies and ’ murder mysteries are still more or less rampant. Desmond plays the role of a young New York money-wizard who, when he discovers that his over-worked brain motor is hitting on only one cylinder, goes west for his health. There he is plunged into a mess of exciting adventures that, make Nick Carter’s lurid romances seem anaemic in comparison. There are thrills galore in this exciting drama, which gives Desmond, one of the best roles of his career. The bill includes Gazette, comedy and the opening chapters of the tremendous Fox “stunt” serial, ‘Tride 13,” a play introducing cruisers, destroyers, seaplanes arid “Blimps,” and stunts galore.
