Unofficial advices from Japan state that a Coalition Ministry is expected to eucceed M. Hara, but owing to difficulty •n finding the right man for the Premiership the change is not likely to be immediate. M. Hara will have a large voice in the selection. Baron Kato is not favored, as he has not sufficient supporters. Reports refer to considerable social unrest. The fundamental institutions of the Empire are threatened by the ingress of certain conditions and foreign influence, especially among the Labor elements. —Ana.-N-Z. Cable Assn.
