The Rarawa Is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail again for Onehunga at 8.20 p.m. THE CITY OF WINCHESTER. Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., advise that the City of Winchester, now at Wellington, should arrive at New Plymouth on Thursday with abput 700 tons of cargo loaded at New York, consisting of case oil and general merchandise. The City of Winchester is a vessel of 7981 tons, her length 456 feet, beaip 57 feet 9 inches, and depth 31 feet. She was built by Palmeh and Co., at Newcastle (England), in recent times for the Elleman Lines, Ltd., and is now under charter in the United States. She is driven by geared turbines. MAINDY LODGE FROM NEWCASTLE. The steamer Maindy Lodge (Messrs. Collett and Co. agents) is en route from Newcastle (N.S.W.) to New Plymouth with a cargo of coal. The vessel first visited this port earlier in the year. KENNEDY FROM WELLINGTON.
The small steamer Kennedy (Messrs, Newton King, Ltd., agents), is scheduled to reach New Plymouth on Wednesday from Wellington with about 200 tons of general cargo. Including transhipments ex several Home vessels.
WAIMATE AT WELLINGTON. The Waimate, from Newcastle, arrived at Wellington at 1.40 p.m. yesterday. The vessel is due at New Plymouth on about May 16 to load frozen cargo for the United KingTHE OSTERLEY DELAYED. A cable from London says the Osterley’s departure has been postponed till May 21, owing to the labor dispute with the stewards. WAIKAWA AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s steamer Waikawa arrived at Auckland on Friday morning, cargoladen from San Francisco. The vessel was to sail on Saturday for 'Wellington, where she is due to-day to put out part cargo. ZDALANDIC LEFT COLON. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Zealandic left Colon on May 4 for London, en route from Lyttelton. The vessel .sailed from Lyttelton on April 6. OTAKI FROM U.S.A. The Federal Line have received cable advice that the steamer Otaki left New York on April 28 and Newport News on May 1 cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane.
