OFFICIAL STATISTICS. ENLISTMENTS AND CASUALTIES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 7, 5.5 p.m. London. May 6. An official return shows that 91 millions enlisted in the British army in wartime. The total casualties were 3,266,362. The enlistments in Tlie British Isles totalled 6.211.427, deaths 743.702, wounded prisoners 176,305. The figures for Canada were 683.107 enlistments. 56.625 deaths, 149,732 wounded. 3,754 prisoners. The Australian enlistments were 413,453. deaths 59,330, wounded 152.17*2, prisoners 4,084. New Zealand enlistments were 227.325, deaths 16.136. wounded 40.729, prisoners 60-?.
