WAGES OF BRITISH SEAMEN.

By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. London May 4. The seafarers ballotted on the proposed reduction of wages. The result has not yet been disclosed, but it is understood a majority of the sailors and firemen are against acceptance of the reduction.

THE JAFFA AFFRAY.

London. May 4. The official report states that the Jaffa affray was the outcome of a Labor meeting which was disturbed by Jewish Communists. Fighting followed, and the troops were summoned and restored order, but the disturbances started again the next day when additional troops and the police restored order. Altogether 30 Jews ami 10 Arabs were killed and 170 Jews and 57 Arabs wounded. Nyhierous arrests followed.
