THE ANNUAL REPORT.

The annual report of the Stratford Agricultural and Pastoral Association congratulates members on another successful year. The report states: During the past twelve months 162 new members have been enrolled, whilst resignations numbered 28. The most important work and improvements to the association’s property has been the erection of a cattle pavilion for pedigree Stock at a cost of £766, this being the beginning of a building scheme which it is hoped to accomplish as finance permits.. Entries for the annual show held on November 24 and 25 produced a record in the Jersey cattle and pig sections, and whilst they show a slight decrease in the number of other kinds of stock, as compared with last year, are in excess of the average for the last four years. Entries in the industrial and junior classes were in excess of the previous best by 9. and 300 respectively.
