INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) May 3.
All who know Dr. Nutting’s son “Bob” will be pleased to learn that news has been received by the doctor, from the best authority, that his son is not so seriously hurt by the accident which befel him in the football field at Christchurch last Saturday, as was at first feared, and that he is believed to be making good progress towards complete recovery.
Old acquaintances amongst the residents of the district were pleased to see Mr. Anthony Wisnewski, formerly of Bristol Road (near Inglewood) here today. He was pacing a flying visit to his old neighborhood. He is now farming near Cardiff and speaks enthusiastically of that country and its prospects.
