NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Following is the result of the ladies’ match played on the New Plymouth Club's links yesterday for a silver button : Miss Rollo 100—17—83 Mrs. Quilliam 99—15 —84 Miss Thompson 106 —21—85 Miss Simpson Ill—24—87 Miss Goldwater 112—25—87 Miss Gavin 98—10—88 Next Tuesday a match will be played for a prize presented by Mrs. McQuade, players to choose their own partners. INGLEWOOD CLUB. (From Oil Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Inglewood Golf Club was held on Monday night. Mr. J. Srtherland (president) presided. The balace-sheet for the past year, which showed a credit of £l5 18s lid was adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —President, Mr. J. Sutherland; secretary, Mr. Carmine; treasurer, Mr. Pullen; captain, Mr. H. J. M. Thomson ; committee, Messrs. Gudgeon and Simcock. ‘ It was resolved that Thursday, May 5, be the opening day for this season. Messrs. Thomson and Gudgeon were elected grounds and handicap committee. The following new members were elected: Miss D. Brown, Messrs. W. H. Armstrong, P. Gudgeon, C. Hamerton, ,T. Kilpatrick, C. C. Rossier, T. Schneller, and M. Sutherland. The resignations of Miss Burns and Mrs. Sutherland from active membership of the club were received with regret, and on the motion of Messrs. Pullen and Gudgeon they were imade honorary members. Resolutions of interest to members regarding boundaries, etc., jvere passed, and a hearty vote of thanks to the outgoing committee and officers concluded the meeting. .
