A young fellow was discovered prowling about' the establishment of Mr. 'l' Fountaine, draper, Eltham, on Saturday evening, and later on one named Raymond Sheaver was arrested and charged with attempted burglary. Sheaves, who has been residing all Kaponga for some time, had previously been in an industrial school on account of thefts which he committed at the Ngaere store some eighteen months ago. He admitted, hie guilt, and will be charged with the offence at Friday’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court.
