By Telegraph.—Press As-n.—Copyright. London, April 28.
Dean Inge, in a series of articles in the Evening Standard, is trying his hand as a minor prophet. He believes that if*the Government would take its courage in both hands and go to the country on the single issue of the repeal of the Trades Disputes Act they would win. Failing this the unions will continue to ride the community until capital is altogether dissipated. He predicts that China, India and Japan will become the world’s workshops, where labor is more efficient than in Europe. America may succeed in Excluding colored people, but Australia’s chances are more problematical.
