HOURS FOR SHOPS.
MAGISTRATE GRANTS EXTENSION,

Judgment was given by Mr. McCarthy, S.M., on the applications by small shopkeepers for an extension of hours. A provisional extension was granted until 7 o’clock four days of the week, and 9! o’clock on one day, a condition being that the ordinary half-holiday was observed.
