BIRD ROAD ROLL OF HONOR (To the Editor.) Sir,—ln answer to Q. Ellis’ request for further names, I have much pleasure in giving tte following :—A. Carseldlne, R. McCracken, J. Rogers, R. hied, all of whom were schoolboys; Captain C. J. Pierce, R. Caraeldine. Corp. J. G. Grainger, W. Mehrtens, B. Rogers, all of whom were closely connected with the district previous to the war. Had a public meeting of residents been called to discuss a suitable memorial and names to go/ thereon, instead of it being done by a small euchre committee, I am sure this injustfei would never have been done.—l am, etc., J.
