EVERYBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE IDOL DANCER.” The “house full” sign kept many a would be patron from seeing “The Idol Dancer” at Everybody’s last evening. Unfortunately the season cannot possh bly be extended and it is announced that to-night’s will be the final screening. Filmed amid the tropical splendors of the South Seas, “The Idol Dancer” does not fail to fascinate the onlooker as the enthralling tale is unfolded. • The bill includes “Dragon’s Net” and Gazettes. To-morrow’s new bill presents Earle Williams in Haddon Chamber’s engrossing play of Australian bush-ranging, “Captain Swift.”

THE PEOPLE’S. LONGFELLOW’S “EVANGELINE.” “Evangeline,” the vitally dramatic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, will be seen for a run of two days, beginning , to-night on the screen at the People’s Theatre in the motion picture version made by Fox Film Corporation. William Fox, in making this picture, has achieved what was declared to be impossible. The production is rated a surpassingly beautiful version of the most sublime drama in the history, of American literature. Miss Miriam Cooper, a well-known and charming leading woman of the screen, is seen in the title role, and her impersonation of the unhappy heroine is said to be her greatest achieve' meat. The 'bill includes the smashing “Sunshine” comedy, “Fair Lady,” and Fox Gazettes.

THE EMPIRE. LUBOWBKI CONCERT THURSDAY. In response to innumerable reqUL>Ci from New Plymouth residents, the talented Dubowski family of musicians have arranged a return visit to New Plymouth on Thursday evening next, at the Empire, prior to their departure from New Zealand. The concert is to consist mostly of popular items, opening with “The Geisha” selection, and including “You’d be Surprised” rag, “Intermezzo from Cavalieria Rusticana,” “Blue Danube ” “Oh, What a Pal was Mary,” Bells solo “Your Little Blackberries,” and many other popular and well known items. Daniel Lubowski will play Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, Nocturne Chopin-fiarasate, Hungarian Czardash. The concert should prove a very popular one. The box plan is now open at Col* lier’s.
