FARMER’S TERRIBLE DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. A farmer named William Burton Smith was gored to death by a bull at Stoke yesterday. He went down to attend to a bull which was on a chain, and the bull charged and tossed him. The fall broke the man’s neck, and the chain became bound round him, and he ,was badly gored. The verdict was: “Accidental death.”
