In the singles Peach beat Patterson 6—4, 6—2; Rice beat Wertheim 6—o, 6—3; Hawkes beat Todd 3—6, 6—l, 6—3. In the doubles Peach and Anderson beat Wertheim and Rainey 6—o, 6—2. Patterson and Hawkes beat Peach and Anderson 4—6, 6—3, 9—7; Wertheim and Rainey beat Rice and Todd 6—B, 6—4, 7— 5. New South Wales won eleven rubbers, twenty-seven sets and 245 games, to ten rubbers, twenty sets and 240 games.
