GOOD PROGRESS IN HAWKE’S BAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The early completion of the Waikaremoana hydro-electric scheme is definitely assured, according to advice received by the East Coast Development League from- a gentleman who is closely in touch with those in charge of the work. Districts which anticipate receiving supplies .of electricity from this source are advised to be very active from now onward? to enable them to' be in a position to take the current when it is available. The league’s correspondent remarks that an early move will be made in the formation of a central Hawke’s Bay Power Board.
