MUCH DAMAGE IN LONDON. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received April 22, 8.30 p.m. London, April 22. Window-smashing continues, and over a thousand windows were damaged. It is estimated their replacement will cost £lOO,OOO. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. A Sinn Fein window-smashing campaign in London has attained alarming proportions. Five hundred outrages were reported, and the damage totals many thousands of pounds. About 160 windows were smashed in Stoke Newington. It is believed that women are concerned. The outrages were carried out at night, and are most difficult to detect.
