Major Collinson, a plantation owner -in the Solomon group, in criticising the administration of Australia under the mandate, said that it had been bad owing to sending young men there who did not know how to govern the natives. The Federal Government seemed to have no officer to deal with the question, or who understood it. NEWCASTLE COAL EXPORTS. Sydney, April 19. The Chamber of Commerce at Newcastle has prepared returns of the export of coal from Newcastle for Mr. Hughes.
