Lord Jellieoe landed from the Tutane. kai at 11 a.m. and was formally welcomed by the Mayor and the county chairman at the Botanical Gardens, In •the presence of several thousand people. His Excellency addressed a Nagry League gathering in the afternoon and will be entertained by the Favage Club to-night To-morrow there will be a lative reception and a visit to country districts. He leaves for Tauranga tomorrow night.
