Morton Palmer Pimental, managing director of the Federated Films, Ltd., has been arrested on a charge of maliciously setting fire to Numaq’s Buildings, with intent to defraud.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. A fire in the Federated Feature Films, Ltd.’s premises in Numan’s Buildings in Melbourne recently caused damage estimated at £20.000. Miss G. Reilly, employed in the building, after telephoning her employer that the workrooms were ablaze, was overcome by smoke and heat and was burned to death.
