GOLF.
PATEA CLUB. The Patea Golf Club had successful opening day on Saturday. The weather was perfect and the links wejfc in good order. Mixed foursomes on handicap were played, and Miss T. Gibson and Ormsby 49—10—39, and Miss Honeyfield and Pratt 49—10 —39, returned the best cards. In the draw the latter won. A number of visitors were present from the Waverley and Hawera Clubs.
