HUNGARY CHANGES PREMIER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright Budapest, April 14. M. Teleki has resigned the Premiership owing to dissatisfaction caused through his statement to the Swiss Government that Karl was still the legitimate King of Hungary. It is reported that Count Bethlen has been appointed Hungarian Premier, in succession to M. Teleki, who resigned owing to dissatisfaction with his conduct in connection with Karl’s attempt to regain the throne.—Reuter Service. FRENCH DUTY ON GERMAN GOODS. Paris, April 14. The Chamber, by 3-83 votes to 79, passed a bill imposing a duty on imports from Germany.—Aue.-N.Z. Cablp Assn. O’CALLAGHAN DEFIANT. Washington, April 14. O’Callaghan, Mayor of Cork, has announced that he will not leave the United States in compliance with the Government’s ruling that he is an undesir-able.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PROHIBITION IN AMERICA. Washington, April 5. The finish of the fight is expected in this Congress to determine whether beer and light wines are coming back. A Bill has unexpectedly been presented repealing the Volstead Act, which officially brought prohibition into the United States.—Reuter Service. CANADIAN SHIPBUILDING. Ottawa, April 14. Under the closure rule the House of Commons voted 8 million dollars to complete the shipbuilding programme. DUTCH AIR SERVICE. London, April 15. The first passenger flights of the Royal Dutch Air Service from London to Amsterdam and back, were made to-day in new luxurious aeroplanes, designed in Holland, with British engines and pilots. The journey from London to Rotterdam took 85 minutes, and thence to Amsterdam 30 minutes.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE SANCTIONS QUESTION. London, April 14. Mr. Lloyd George, in the House of Commons, said there was no agreement with France regarding the sanctions to be applied in the event of Germany’s default on May 1.
