A FATHER’S CRIME.
ATTACK ON HIS TWO SONS. ONE BOY DIES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received' April 17, 5.5 p.m. Perth, April 17. The elder Brocklehurst boy died of wounds, and the younger boy’s condition ia serious. The latter states that his father came into the room, locked the door, and said he was going to kill them all so that they could go to heaven to join their dead mother. The father first cut the elder boy’s throat, and then cut the younger’s' arm and neck, and afterwards cut his own throat. The survivor crawled to a neighbor’s place and reported the tragedy.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
A settler named Brocklehurst, living near Kalamunda, attacked his two young sons with a razor, gashing their throats. He then fatally cut himself with the razor. Brocklehurst’s wife committed suicide recently. >
