NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB OPENING OF THE SEASON. The golf season will be opened by the New Plymouth Club on the Waiwakaiho links this afternoon, when mixed foursomes will be played for a trophy donated by the club captain. The draw is:—J. Burgess and Mrs. Burgess play J. Austin and Mrs. Gray; A. Smith and Miss Goldwater play G. M. Chong and Miss Rundle; W. H. Robertshaw and Miss Simpson play A. Bewley and Mrs. Wade; T. P. Anderson and Mrs. Andersyn play E. Colson and Miss Clarke; T. V. Mackay and Miss Winfield play A L. B. Ross and Mrs. Mackay; V. Elliott and Mrs. Thomson play T. Thomson and Mrs. Smith; H. R.
