MANAWATU FATALITY.
WANTED MAN ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Marton, April 11. Deer, who was wanted on a charge of theft at Palmerston North on February 28 of the car which capsized in the Manawatu Gorge resulting in the death of a companion, was arrested on Saturday. Palmerston North, April 11. Andrew Deer, charged with theft of a motor car, was remanded till April 18. The car concerned in the charge Was the one which went over the bank in the Manawatu Gorge on February 28, when four men were hurled into the and a man named Davidson killed.
