FOOTBALL.
STRATFORD CLUB. At a. meeting of the committee of thd Stratford Football Club held on Tuesday night, the ‘ annual report and balance-sheet for last season was read and passed, the statement showing a credit of £7 14s 4d. It was decided to send two seven-a-side teams to Manaia next Saturday. Practice will be held on the Stratford show grounds next Saturday. Arrangements are now being made to play practice matches with Toko (first ' apd second juniors), Midhirst, and Strathmore, before the commen'/e--ment of the fixtures. Mr. W. Darragh, of Stratford, has offered tl?e Stratford Football Club a gold medal f?r the best all-round senior player during the present season. The offer was accepted with hearty thanks.
