ATHLETICS.
MANAIA HIBERNIA# SPORTS. Visitors can rely on having a most enjoyable time at the Hibernian sports, which are to be held In the Manala Domain on Saturday, for large entries have been received in the various athletics, field, and horse events. The grounds are charminglj’ situated, adapting themselves admirably for such a gathering. Considerable ’ interest should be centred on. the hojse jumping, and these competitions are being held in a portion of the grounds where there is a small, amphitheatre, and from the surrounding knolls the public are assured of a i good view of the competitions. Complete arrangements have been made by the committee to ensure the success of the gathering, snecitu attention being paid to the catering, which is in the hands of local ladies.
