A VALUABLE SHIPMENT. The Port Hacking, which is due in New Plymouth about April 22, will load for London—--15,000 freight carcases 20,000 boxes of butter 5,000 crates of cheese. The value of the meat is approximately £lB,OOO and of the dairy produce £190,000 a total of £208,000, which gives an idea of the value of Taranaki’s exports. It is expected the Port Hacking will be' closely followed by the Port Piri'e, bringing over 1800 tons general cargo from London. After discharging, the Port Pirie will, load about 600 casks tallow and a smr.ll quantity of wool and cased meat for London.
