POLITICS IN AUSTRALIA.
ELECTIONS IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received April 5, 7.45 p.m. Adelaide, April 5. The general elections will be held on Saturday next. The issues are very mixed. There are four straight-out parties—Liberal, Labor, Progressives and Farmers—besides a number of Independents, in the field. There appears to be a probability of the Liberals being returned with sufficient direct backing to enable them to carry on. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
