FOOTBALL.
ELTHAM CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Eltham Rugby Football Club was held on Monday. There was a large attendance, and Mr. H. A. Nuttall presided. It was decided to enter teams in the' senior. first junior, and fourth grade competitions. Officers were elected as follow: —Patron, Mr. O. J. Hawken, M.P.; president, Mr. G. W. Bennett; secretary, Mr. C. Christian; treasurer, Mr. H. A. Nuttall; club captain, Mr. Sinclair; management committee, Messrs. Falvey, L. Nodder, H. A. Nuttall, A. Beesley, T. Glentworth and Sinclair. Selectors: Seniors, Messrs. Nuttall and Falvey; juniors, Mr. T. Glenworth; four grade, Mr. W. Bicheno; together with team captains.
It was also decided to commence practice Immediately, and to enter a team for the 7-a-side tournament at the Kaponga sports.
