MELEE ON LONDON COURSE. A MAN STABBED LATER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received April Q, 11.5 p.m. London, April 2. A feud between two gangs of racecourse habitues culminated in a melee at a London suburban meeting at Alexandra Park. One man was shot in the head and another struck on the head with a hammer, but neither was seriously injured. Others suffered minor injuries. The police drove out a hundred rowdies. The cause of the feud was not declared.

Later, as a result of the racecourse feud, a man named Russell was fatally stabbed in the throat in Holborn after an altercation’ on Saturday night.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
