FAIR DEMAND EXPERIENCED. Dunedin, March 30. ’At the Burnside stock sale to-day there were good yardings in most departments. The demand was fair for all classes with the exception of store cattle. Fat Cattle. —A large yarding of fair quality, the number penned being 204 head. The sale opened at prices ranging from 10s to 15s a head below last week’s rates, but as it progressed values improved, and at the close were firm at last week’s rates, and a total clearance was effected without difficulty.
