WAR IN ASIA MINOR.
BOTH SIDES CLAIM SUCCESS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 1, 7.55 p.m. London, April 1. Turkish reports from Constantinople deny that the Greeks captured Eskishehir. They declare that the Greeks have been seriously checked. The latest Athens reports state that desperate fighting continues before Eskishehir, where the Turks are attempting to arrest the Greeks’ advance pending the removal of material. The fall of the town is considered imminent.— Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
