COAL OWNERS TO MEET TO-DAY. There have been no developments yet, in connection with the mining dispute, A meeting of the executive of the Coalj Mine Owners’ Association will be held] in Wellington to-day to consider the de- • mand of the Miners’ Federation to meet / representatives of the owners in con-' ference. Mr. William Reece, president of the New Zealand Mine Owners’ Association, states that his executive will meet in Wellington this morning, when the miners’ demands will be discussed, and a reply forwarded to the Miners’ Federation. On account of the holidays, the owners were unable to get a meeting together before to-day.
