EVERYBODY’S. “THE THIRD GENERATION.” “The Third Generation,” showing at Everybody’s to-night, reveals a theme that could happen in real life, and is all the more realistic in the capable hands of beautiful Betty Blythe and Mahlon Hamilton. Special prestige obtained at the expense of business standing is the keynote, the young aristocrat whose money was made for him by his grandfather being helped materially to sustain a front rank position amongst the “Tour Hundred” by a butterfly wife who incidentally bores large holes in the hull of his fortune. Disaster comes and is met in an unusual' manner, creating a novelty in plot and execution. The production is on a lavish scale, and the picture provides food for thought in an interesting manner. MARGARITA FISHER IN “MOLLY OF THE FbLLIES” TO-MORROW. To-morrow and Saturday the popular Margarita Fisher stars in another of her delightful comedy-drama productions, “Molly of the Follies,” a story of a dancer and a millionaire, with Margarita in her best character to date. THE PEOPLE’S. ■ “A GAMBLE FOR DEATH.” To-night’s new bill presents another Gaumont all-'British production, “A Gamble for Death.” “A Gamble for Death” is frankly a melo-drama, depending upon its swift action, its compelling plot, and the strong climax for its success. The main plot of the story is concerned with a man who lives in perpetual fear of being killed at any moment and in any fashion. After many failures he eventually succeeds by an ingenious trick and a thrilling fight, in [getting rid of the man who has been dogging his steps with murderous intent for many months.' Aurele Sydney as I Henry Sham, the hero, is active from the I very commencement of the film, and his | work should be appreciated by hiis many admirers. The supporting cast includes Irma Beretti as Anna, and Athlio d’Auversa as Joseph Gaban. Gazette, comedy and “Elmo the Fearless” No. 10 are also shown.
