SWIMMING.
PROPOSED TARANAKI CENTRE. . A conference of Representatives oi swimming clubs is to be held at thi Town Hall, Stratford, at 2.30 this at ternoon, with a view to forming i Taranaki Centre of the New Zealaw Amateur Swimming Association. Th meeting has been convened by Mr. B Day, chairman of the committee of th 9 New Plymouth Club, and delegates are expected from the Hawera, Stratford • and New Plymouth Clubs, and the North Taranaki Head Centre of the Royal Life-saving Society.
