N.S.W. RESOLUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn Copyright Sydney, March 28. The Labor Conference is discussing several motions dealing with electoral reform, including the introduction of compulsory voting and taking a plebiscite of electors on the abolition .of the Legislative Council, also a motion that all articles or letters in the newspapers dealing .with Statu, shire or municipal elections after nomination be signed by the authors. The Labcr Conference decided to retain proportional representation with amendments by a vote of 111 to 89. A resolution was carried sympathising with Ireland and suggesting that a cablegram be sent to Mr. Storey with the view of urging the King and the Imperial authorities to withdraw the armies from Ireland. The Labor Conference resolved to pledge itself individually and collectively to refuse to participate in any war outside the Commonwealth. 6
