The Montreal correspondent of the New’ York Tribune telegraphs that political circles are discussing the transfer of the control of Canadian railways from the Government into the hands of a privately owned syndicate, which will operate and perhaps also own them. It is understood that a special session oi Parliament may be called in the autumn to discuss the matter.
