WOMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Maud Taylor, 28 years old, stepped off a tnam-car in Manners Street and was caught underneath before the motorman could pull up. The car passed over the woman, one leg being cut off below the knee, the other badly crushed, the body 'mutilated, and the face cut and contused. She is alive, but lies in a critical condition in hoepital.
