NEW PLYMOUTH v. WEST END. On the West End green yesterday a match was played between New Plymouth and West End rinks, resulting in a win for the former, the totals’ being 125—M0. STRATFORD CLUB. EASTER PAIRS TOURNAMENT. The Stratford Bowling Club’s third annual Easter pairs tournament was commenced on Friday morning, and the semi-finals were played yesterday. The weather conditions on the three days were not altogether favorable, a cold wind and occasional 'showers of rain depriving the game of much of its enjoyment. The finals are to be played between Lyons and Finlay and Porritt and Boyd, on a date to be arranged. Following are the results: Section “A”.
