There were large entries, visitors Being present from Taranaki, Marton and Palmerston North. The results of the matches In which Taranaki players were engaged are:— Men’s Chamfrionship Singles.—Dickie beat Cowper 6—o, 6—l. Men's Championship Doubles.—Dickie and Wallce beat Short and Webster 6—o, 6—l; Wallace and Dickie beat Blundell and Davey 6—l, 6—2. Combined Championship Doubles.—'Webster and Miss Brewster beat Cowper and Miss Lawrence 6—l, 6—l: Wallace and Mrs. Melody beat Beattie and Miss Aller. Men’s Handicap Singles (A grade).—Webster beat Tulsere by default; Archer beat Lane by default; Archer beat Cutficld 9 —4. Men’s Handicap Doubles.—Billows and Bradshaw beat Short and Webster 9—3. Ladles' Handicap Doubles.—Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Dickie beat Miss Brewster and Mrs. Smith 9—B. ELTHAM v. PARK (N.P.) At Eltham on Good Friday a team from the Park Club (New Plymouth), defeated the Eltham Club in a-match by eleven games, the totals being Park 202, Eltham 191.
