THE WELLINGTON FIRE. By Telegraoh.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. It is estimated the damage done to the stock of A. Levy, Ltd., will run into several thousands, but the structure was not seriously damaged. The Colonial Mutual Building was insured for £ls,ffooo, and-Uevy’s stock, maclxinfery and fittings are insured for £2,000 in the Norwich Union Office. COAL MINE HELD UP. Auckland, Last Night. The miners at Pukemiro did not work yesterday owing, it is stated, to the mine manager not agreeing to guarantee them a full day’s work on account of the uncertainty of an adequate supply of trucks. There were sufficient trucks at the mine to last half the day. The Rotowaru and Taupiri extended mines worked a full day.
