AUSTRALIAN FLOUR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, March 23. The Australian Wheat Board has reduced the price of flour for East Africa and the Islands to 7s lid. It is understood the shipping companies are reducing freights on April 4 to 50s per ton Java and 60s Singapore, which is a reduction of 10s per ton. COCKATOO ISLAND DOCK. Sydney, March 23. A secret inquiry has been instituted into the administration of Cockatoo Island Dock. No information has been given to the Press, but it has unofficially been learned that materials to the value of £IOO,WO are missing and unaccounted for. It is stated that an exhaustive examination reveals leakages totalling £250,00. A commission with a wider scope will probably be appointed. —Aub.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
