KAPONGA CLUB. The annual meeting of tbe above club was held last week. Mr. J. .1. Davidson occupied the chair. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. A. O. Casey; president, Mr. W. E. Ward; vice-presidents, Messrs. I’. W. Allen, F. Bertie, C. E. Betts, L. Wickham, A. Cleland, J. W. Mills, M. W. Priest, D. J. Kehely, p. Thoumine, senr.; club captain, Mr. M. IV. Priest; vice-captain, Mr. H. McCarty: secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. H. Henderson; assistant secretary, Mr W. H. King; selection comonlttee, captain, vice-captain, and Mr. F. Nicholls, delegates to Messrs. M. W. Priest and F. Nicholls; audi-1 jtjr, Mr. W. g. Fearon.
