Cheese.—there is a good demand for colored at £7 19s per cwt., but market Is slow for what at £7 6i. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY Cd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 17th instant:— Rabbit Skins.—There is a small demand for furriers; other sorts fairly good at an appreciation of 12% per cent. NEWTON KING, LTD. Newton King, Ltd., advise having receive the following from tbelr principals, Messrs. R. and W. Davidson, Ltd., Glasgow:— "Cheese unarket weaker, especially white Present value colored £B, £8 2s; white £7 2s £7 45."
