BRITISH POLITICS.
HINT OF A NEW PARTY. By Telegraph.—Preu Asan.—Copyright. Received March 20, 11.5 p.m. London, March 10. Lord Robert Cecil, explaining his change over in the House of Commons, said he was unwilling to be made a phonograph. The Commons and the times had changed since the Conservative Party was formed and now demanded independent judgment. He favored retrenchment and industrial co-opera-tion among all classes. The country was not ready yet for a Labor Government, but it should be possible to form a successful Government composed of moderates of all parties. The meeting enthusiastically re-affirmed confidence in Lord Robert Cecil.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
